Elder Drusilla Carmichael was born June 24th and raised in Baltimore, MD.  Being raised in a God-fearing home under the tutelage of her parents The Late Bishop Roy and Mother Bessie   Spence, she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior and master of her life at the tender age of 8.  She was baptized in Jesus name at the age of 11 and continued her walk with the Lord to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost.  She was a member of the First United Church of Jesus Christ under the Pastorate of The Late Bishop Monroe R. Saunders, Sr.  Her careful attention to the service of the Lord caught the eye of her pastor and he appointed her to several roles of duties over the years.  As a part of her studies, she attended the United Biblical Institute of Baltimore, Maryland.  She also received her Bachelor of Science in Communications from Towson State University in Towson, Maryland.  Over the years she has served as an usher, choir member, youth leader, Sunday School teacher, District Youth President, National Scholarship President, Youth Advisor, Retreat Leader, Women’s President and Senior Church Administrator.  She served in the telecommunications industry for over 28 years and is currently employed as a supervisor serving The American Red Cross.

In 1989, the Lord called her parents to Pastor and they began the work at Christ Temple Holiness Church, Baltimore, Maryland .  With much prayer and final direction from the Lord, she joined them in the work.  Continuing to serve, she soon heard the call from God to minister the Word.  God sends his anointing as she delivers His Word in this end time.  Her theme scripture is “Delight thyself also in the Lord and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart” Psalms 37:4.  She truly believes that if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost.  2 Cor. 4:3.
Elder Drusilla Carmichael served as Co-Pastor with her husband the Late Dr.  Bishop Herbert Carmichael, Jr. at the Greater Deliverance Fellowship Ministries in Charlotte, North Carolina.  God has blessed her with 2 beautiful, anointed sons Jonathan Stephen and Joel Emmanuel Carmichael.
Now, she answers with another yes to God as she is consecrated to the Lord in the role of Senior Pastor at the Greater Deliverance Fellowship Ministries in Charlotte, NC.
